Jill has 3/8 gallon of milk to use for a recipe .She uses 1/6 the milk .How much milk does she use?

First you can do the math by making the fraction equivalent and that would make it 3/8=9/24 and 1/6=4/24 and then you can do the subtraction and get 5/24 which is you answer if you meant how much was remaining because if you meant how much did she use that would just be 1/6.
