If Mrs. Vang have 602 pennies and Mrs. Avh had 862 pennies then you are going to add it to make it 1,464 pennies. Then take 1,500 pennies and subtract 1,464 pennies. The total would be 36 pennies.

They need 36 more pennies to have 1,500 pennies.
