The sum of a number and twice its reciprocal is 27/5. Find
the number.​

Answer:

x  , reciprocal= 1/x  

x+2(1/x)=27/5  

x+2/x=27/5  

x^2+2=27/5*x  

x^2-27/5*x+2=0  

(x-5)(x-2/5)=0  

x=5, 2/5
