-9/-3 = 3

and if you want to find the y-intercept:

-6 - 3 = -9

4 - 1 =  3

(3,-9)

-9 - 3 = -12

3 - 1 = 2

(2,-12)

-12 - 3 = -15

2 - 1 = 1

(1,-15)

-15 - 3 = -18

1 - 1 = 0

(0,-18)

therefore, the y-intercept is -18
