The molecular structure of hydrogen cyanide is linear. This consists of two regions- the single bond between hydrogen and carbon and a triple bond between nitrogen and carbon. Carbon is verified to have four bonds and the compound is considered stable. A linear configuration has an angle of 180 degrees.
