The smaller two integers are:x and x+2

So

(X)(x+2)=(x+4)^2-22

Distribute

X^2+2x=x^2+16+8x-22

X^2 cancels each other out and 16-22=-6

2x=8x-6

Add 6 on both sides

2x+6=8x

Subtract “2x” on both sides

6=6x

1=x
