Given that,

Mass density of gold [tex]\rho=1.91\times10^{4}\ kg/m^3[/tex]

Suppose, The volume of gold is 1.23 cm³

We need to calculate the mass of gold

Using formula of density

[tex]\rho=\dfrac{m}{V}[/tex]

[tex]m=\rho\times V[/tex]

Where, m = mass

[tex]\rho[/tex] =density of gold

V = volume

Put the value into the formula

[tex]m=1.91\times10^{4}\times1.23\times10^{-6}[/tex]

[tex]m= 2.34\times10^{-2}\ kg[/tex]

[tex]m=23.4\ gram[/tex]

Hence, The mass of gold is 23.4 gram.
