1. As a chilly breeze blew through her window, Sophie awoke suddenly with shivers running down her spine and goosebumps raising on her arms.

2. On Halloween night, the moon was high in the sky, bright yellow and as eerie as can be; inviting the ghouls and goblins to come out of hiding.

3. Moonlight bathed the quiet street; not a single soul was to be found for miles out this late on a cold winters night.
