If y= -7(-2-2x), what is the value of x when y is equal to 70?​

x = 4.

Substitute 70 in for the y.
70 = -7(-2-2x)

Then multiply everything inside the parenthesis by -7.
70 = 14 + 14x

Then subtract 14 on both sides
56 = 14x

Divide by 14 on both sides
x = 4
