How did the Scientific Revolution change society?

The scientific revolution changed society because it would help start the movement of people starting to think with logic and reason. Before then, people were heavily dependent on religion as the answer to everything and would rely on the pope more than rational thinking. It would become the foundation of the enlightenment which would help such ideologies flourish.
