How do you write a Bucket List Research Essay with Five fully edited paragraphs, MLA heading, in-text citations, and Works Cited

Respuesta :

Answer:

I don't know what a Bucket List Research essay is, but here is how you write an essay.

Essay plan:

P1: introduction. Include a hook and a thesis. State all your reasons [reason 1, reason 2, reason 3, etc].

P2: Restate reason one. Explain its relevance to the topic, then explain its general importance.

P2: Restate reason two. Explain its relevance to the topic, then explain its general importance.

P3: Restate reason three. Explain its relevance to the topic, then explain its general importance.

P4: Restate reason four OR introduce a counterargument and explain why it is wrong/weak (only introduce a counterargument if this is an opinion piece).

P5: conclusion. Rephrase all your reasons and then your thesis statement.

Citations:

Find websites or books supporting your reasons. Quote or paraphrase the places they support your reasons.

  • [book name] expresses how [reason].
  • "[reason"], says [website name]

If you use websites, include links to them on a seperate page at the end of your document.

MLA heading:

At the top of the page, write these things, in order:

  • your name
  • your instructor's name
  • the name of your class (ex: English)
  • The paper's due date

Format your page like so:

Times New Roman font, size 12. Even your title should be size 12.

Margins should be 1 inch (I believe most word processors do this automatically).

Double-space the text.

When you finish, look through your essay for grammar or punctuation mistakes. You can also use Grammarly, which is a free browser extension that finds grammar, punctuation, and word choice mistakes in your documents.
