Given the volume of a triangular pyramid as v = 1 / 2 bhl, the volume is v = 3 / 2 h⁶

Volume of a triangular prism:

  • v = 1 / 2 bhl

where

b = base

h = height

l = length

Therefore,

b = 3h

l = h⁴

Therefore,

v = 1 / 2 × 3h × h ×  h⁴

v = 3h⁶ / 2

Therefore,

v = 3 / 2 h⁶
