The answer is A. 11 x 17 - 11x because you would use the distributive property and multiply the number on the outside (11) by everything on the inside (17 and -x)

for this, they are asking you to multiply both 17 and -x by 11. B and C only multiply one term by 11, and D doesn't multiply at all. A is the only one that fits!
