By the start of the 20th century, America had already witnessed a rapidly increasing influx of immigrants mostly from the Europe and Asia. The laws Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882, the Emergency Quota Act of 1921, and the National Origins Act of 1929 was then established in order to regulate the flow of these immigrants to the American subcontinent.
