16(1/4x - 1/2) > 24 - 2x

Simplify.

4x - 8 > 24 - 2x

Add 8 to both sides, as well as adding 2x to both sides.

4x + 2x > 24 + 8

Simplify.

6x > 32

Divide both sides by 6.

x > 32/6

Simplify by dividing both the numerator and denominator by 2.

32 ÷ 2 = 16

6 ÷ 2 = 3

So, your answer is :

C)    x > 16/3
