To find the answer, you need to know the formula of Pythagorean theorem which is:
a²+b²=c² where c represent hypotenuse, a represent one of the leg and b represent t another leg
In this case, we know that:
c=2√3
a=√3
b=?
Put all the variable an number into an equation which is
(√3)²+b²=(2√3)²
3+b²=12
Subtract 3 to each side
3+b²-3=12-3
b²=9 unit
Square root to each side
√b²=√9
b=3 unit long. As a result, the other leg is 3 units long. Hope it help!
