In the poem "July" by Susan Hartley Swett, the types of imagery I found are
1) visual - what you see
2) auditory - what you hear
3) kinesthetic - what you feel, movement

The poem also uses figurative language like
1) personification - giving human traits to animals, inanimate objects, or ideas
2) simile - comparing two things using the words "like" and "as" 
3) alliteration - repeating consonant sounds in a line
