A recipe for muffins calls for 3⁄5 of a cup of sugar and 4 cups of flour. If you want to make a bigger batch, using 5 cups of flour, how much sugar will you need?

(3/5) / 4 = x / 5
cross multiply
4x = 5(3/5)
4x = 3
x = 3/4....it would need 3/4 cups of sugar
