Let the length of the base be x.

Height = 3x

Area = 27

[tex] \frac{1}{2} bh [/tex] = 27

[tex] \frac{1}{2} * x * 3x[/tex] = 27

[tex] x^{2} [/tex] = 18

x = [tex] \sqrt{18} [/tex] = 4.24264068712 ≈ 4.24

Hence,

The length of the base is 4.24 ft.

Height = 3x = 3 * 4.24264068712 = 12.7279220614 ≈ 12.72

Hence,

The height is 12.72 ft
