Find the equation of the line with slope − 4 which goes through the point ( − 10 , 2 )

y=-4x-38
you take the equation y=mx+b
then plug in the slope, so y=-4x+b
(-10,2) -10 is your x and 2 is your y
so 2=-4(-10) + b
solve for b
b=-38
rewrite your equation
y=-4x-38
