A pair of coordinate always in a form (x, y)
Let (522, 1322) be (x₁, y₁) and (9000, -1337) be (x₂, y₂)

The distance between two coordinates is given by
Distance = [tex] \sqrt{(x_1-x_2)^2+(y_1-y_2)^2} [/tex]
Distance = [tex] \sqrt{(522-9000)^2+(1322--1337)^2} [/tex]
Distance = [tex] \sqrt{(-8478)^2+(2659)^2} [/tex]
Distance = [tex] \sqrt{78946765} [/tex]
Distance = 8885.200 (rounded to three decimal place)
