distance = rate (speed) x time

d = (6km/h)(2.33 hrs)   (needed to convert 2h 20 mins to hours)

d = 13.98 km

distance = speed x time

distance = 6 x 2.33
( 60/20 = 3. you have to make the number a decimal because the speed is in kilometres per hour)
= 13.98
= 14 km
