Is this the right formula for PI? Example: Diameter: 6, That makes the Radius 3.

Radius X Itself. 3 x 3 = 9. 9 x 3.14 = 28.26 = Area of the circle.
I kinda need to know ASAP cause I have a unit test today :-:

Respuesta :

3.14 times radius times itself. You were right. A=[tex] \pi r^{2} [/tex]
Pi is already 3. 14 but if u wanna find the Circumferences u wanna either wanna use C= 2 x Pi x r or C= Pi x diameter.

so answer to ur example yes that is correct. Hope i helped :)
