Hi there! The answer is A. (-6, 1)

[tex]y = 7x + 43 \\ y = 2x + 13 \\ \\ we \: get \: the \: following \\ 7x + 43 = 2x + 13[/tex]

Subtract 2x from both sides.
[tex]5x + 43 = 13[/tex]

Subtract 43 from both sides.
[tex]5x = - 30[/tex]

Divide both sides by 5.
[tex]x = - 30 \div 5 = - 6[/tex]

Fill in the value of x we just found.
[tex]y = 7 \times - 6 + 43 = - 42 + 43 = 1 \\ y = 2 \times - 6 + 13 = - 12 + 13 = 1[/tex]

Hence, the answer is A. (-6, 1)
