Remember PEMDAS. Add, then subtract. Don’t let the fact that you’re adding decimals confuse you, it’s the same thing as adding any other number.

1. add 4.6+5.1
Put the numbers on top of each other and line up the decimal places. Add.

2. take the number you got from step one, and subtract 3.2.
